All You Need To Know About Chakda Xpress- Jhulan Goswami

India is passionate about Cricket. It’s a feeling, not simply a game. But we often refer to the men’s team whenever we discuss Cricket. They claim that Cricket is a gentleman’s game, yet the world of women’s Cricket is just as thrilling and engaging. Our women’s team also wins medals for the nation and has notable players who we cannot ignore. The first Women’s World Cup was staged in 1973, two years before the inaugural Men’s World Cup, demonstrating how gender is very much a factor in Cricket as a sport. In 1934, Australia and England played their first women’s test match.

India joined the league relatively late; the Women’s Cricket Association of India wasn’t established until 1973. The India Women’s team has been progressively improving since then and has finished as the runner-up in the Cricket World Cup thrice. One can watch Indian women’s cricket team funny videos to know about the fun they do when they are all together.

Some amazing women have scorched the field in women’s Cricket, and India has also produced several cricketing dynasties. Jhulan Goswami is another prominent figure in Indian Cricket. The former captain of Team India has received several honours, and her life is a fairy tale.

Early Life and Birth of Jhulan Goswami

Chakdaha, located in the Nadia district in West Bengal, is the hometown of Jhulan, born on November 25th, 1982. She had an early interest in football and was reared in a home that belonged to the middle class. She became more interested in the sport after seeing the Belinda Clark- Australian batter play in the 1997 Women’s Cricket World Cup. Clark was a member of the Australian team. Jhulan was forced to make the journey to Kolkata for playing cricket since Chakdaha did not have the necessary equipment.

In 2009, Jhulan joined the Bengal Women’s trained team. She was only 19 years old at the time. She first played with Bengal before moving to the East Zone Team. Because of this, she was eventually asked to play international Cricket.

The biopic of Jhulan:

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma is set to portray Jhulan Goswami in her next biopic, highlighting the life of a lesser-known activist. The star claims that the film would introduce viewers to women’s cricket. It’s based on the life and times of Jhulan Goswami, a former Indian captain. At the time when Jhulan made the decision to play cricket professionally and proudly represent her country overseas, it was difficult for women to even contemplate taking up the sport. This film is a theatrical retelling of the many events that shaped her life and the sport of women’s cricket.

What is Jhulan Goswami Doing Now?

Jhulan is still going strong despite having reached the pinnacle of her profession. She has already advanced to the next stage and is getting ready for a career as a coach. Jhulan presently works two jobs—one as a bowling consultant for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team and one as a full-time cricket coach—and she would be thinking about doing so when she hangs up her boots.

When Jhulan ultimately moves to management, which will be a significant step for her career, she will always be able to look back on her life and use it as an example for millions of young women throughout the country. Through her efforts, the Chakdaha girl has served as a source of motivation for women all around the country. She has also shown that anybody can succeed in any profession, providing they have the will to do so and the tenacity to see it through. She has made it possible for women in this country to pursue jobs of their own choice, and she has taken this country one step closer to having a gender-neutral society.

Even if she has been successful in giving hope to one million different individuals, she will still have a lot to contribute to the sporting world when she ultimately moves into a coaching role. She applies the same kind of dedication, tenacity, and soccer skills to the process of preparing a ton of Jhulan Goswami. And by doing so, she would be able to steer India’s women’s cricket team to even more outstanding achievements in the sport.

However, for the time being, the Chakdaha Express will continue to move ahead with both the ball and the bat aggressively. The Indian Women’s Cricket team has a lot of unfinished business with Jhulan Goswami, and the country anxiously anticipates many more miracles shortly.
